SPRING/SUMMER PHOTOSHOOT STYLING & INSPIRATION
For every session booked I send plenty of photoshoot prep guidance, including inspiration and seasonal styling advice for what to wear at your session. And I thought I’d share my helpful Spring and Summer info here with you all…
For all seasons I suggest light neutral options because they perfectly compliment my soft warm photographic tones as well as any backdrop we choose. With the ultimate aim of keeping the focus on you and your family instead of your outfits. This will also give the photographs a timeless feel, and a look that will also suit any outdoor space or interior too!
But especially for Spring and Summer the lighter tones, flowing fabrics, and warmer styles look amazing!
Neutral Tones: Shop Zara, Uniqlo, &OtherStories
Some ideas for colours to add in with neutrals - keep it as light as possible, pastel shades work well with a base of white/cream. Some favourites include pale green, baby pink and powder blue/light denim.
Sweet Pastels: Shop H&M, John Lewis, Next
Remember to avoid dark or bold colours, big patterns and any wording/big logos!
If you have a light patterned dress you just love please wear it but be sure the others in your family are in plain clothing so as not to clash.
